Unlike some other brands, it seems BMW enthusiast all over the world are keen on turning their performance cars intro track-ready bundles of joy! The owner of this Yas Marina Blue BMW F82 M4 took his vehicle over to European Auto Source, where the car received some performance and visual modifications.
In some cases, upgrading certain aspects of the exterior design will further improving its looks. At the same time, subtle changes to the design can simply enhance the ideas the BMW designer had when he or she sketched the car.
This Yas Marina Blue project got started off with some high-performance wheels and tires.
Hugely popular with BMW track enthusiasts, these APEX wheels are strong, lightweight, inexpensive and available in a wide range of fitments. Same goes with these 18″ matte black EC-7s, mounted up perfectly without spacers on this M4. To further improve traction and cornering speed, these wheels were combined with the new super sticky Hankook RS3 tires.
Thanks to a previously installed KW HAS lowering spring kit, this M4 is now ready to tear up the track. As you know, the KW HAS (Height Adjustable Spring System) is a suspension upgrade that allows the car to be lowered and fine set up according to the driver’s needs. KW’s sleeve kit for the F80/F82 M3/M4 allows a large range of height adjustment while retaining the factory electronic damping control. The factory spring perches are removed from the front dampers, and KW’s own threaded height-adjustable perches are installed. The kit includes progressive rate lowering springs for each corner of the car, height adjustable spring perches for the front and rear, strengthened and shortened bump stops and KW shock sleeves to protect the OE BMW dampers.
To round up its looks, BMW gloss black kidney grille surrounds, BMW M Performance carbon fiber trunk spoiler and iND painted side markers, were added to the F82 M4.
