Earlier this year, the people from Dahler surprised us with their take on the BMW M4 with the Competition Package, making it look even meaner with a couple of well picked upgrades. The black beast looked absolutely stunning and it is now the turn of a BMW 440i Convertible to join the club, once again the tuner showing its class by carefully upgrading the model with a black overall theme.

The Swiss team decided to make sure that nobody will overlook your ride when driving around town with the roof down, by putting on a real show for the bystanders. The front fascia is now sporting a new splitter with a dash of grey thrown in for good measure while the standard chrome grilles were also changed with blacked out versions. On the sides you can notice the new wheels along with the Dahler logo on the doors, a feature we could’ve done without.

Round the back you can notice the new diffuser right in the middle of the rear bumper flanked by a quad-pipe exhaust setup that looks menacing as well. Truth be told, with this M Sport package the 440i might just as well be all the car you need, especially due to Dahler’s tuning options. The Stage 1 tune takes the car up to 380 HP instead of the 326 HP it comes with in standard guise, with torque going up to 560 Nm (413 lb-ft).

Stage 2 takes things up even further, to 400 HP and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque while the Stage 3 upgrade will offer 415 HP and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. Those figures prove the tuning prowess of the new-age B58 engine replacing the N55 unit that was so loved by the BMW community. Furthermore, Dahler claims emission standards aren’t affected by their upgrades which is always good news.
