As a clear sign that BMW is going to reveal the X1 at the Paris Auto Show in October, more and more test mules have been spotted lately. Testing seems to be undergoing heavily on the german land and this time, the BMW X1 went out on the Nurburgring. Of course, the car is heavily masked BMW style and we can't really see what's hiding underneath.
As mentioned before in an exclusive article, the BMW X1 will be available not just in four wheel drive, but also as a rear wheel drive. Expect the four and six cylinder engines to be available in both diesel and petrol, but also to see the four cylinder turbo petrol in there too.
It will be launched in Europe first and the base price will be placed below the 3 Series models and it will be targeted mostly for the European market, hence why the production will take place at the Leipzig factory, rather than the X series cars' house, Spartanburg, SC.
