We already established that the BMW F90 M5 is a pretty fast sedan and that it will probably fulfill all of your needs, in terms of speed and acceleration. Its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 pushes out more power than you could possibly need and the best part about this uber-sedan is that you can enjoy this madness with your friends. Yes, I used the plural because unlike in some supercars which will do the same kinds of speeds, you can fit more than two people inside the BMW M5.

In standard guise, the BMW M5 comes with 600 HP and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. That amount of power should be enough as it is but then again BMW decided it should, just to make sure, offer a bit more on the Competition model. Customers going for the more hardcore setup will get 25 extra ponies and a couple of tweaks done to the suspension to make things even sharper. Some would say that’s even better but others might prefer more madness.

The video below is brought to you by AutoTopNL. These guys are usually posting videos of cars going all out on unrestricted Autobahn sections and they usually hit their top speed limiters. Today we’re looking at a special BMW M5 as this one has not 600, not 625 HP but 809. That’s right, this thing is pretty much a monster. As for the torque, you’ll be glad to know that the 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) have been turned into 1,123 Nm (828 lb-ft).

Is that enough? Well, looking at how the speed rakes up in the instrument cluster in the video below I think this BMW M5 could actually have a chance against unlikely rivals, even of the electric flavor. I would definitely be interested to see a drag race between this car and a Tesla P100D, for example. The claimed top speed for this tuned M5 is claimed to be over 300 km/h (186 mph) and it definitely seems like that’s a conservative estimate.
