The BMW X4 is now getting delivered around the world, with customers probably wearing large smiles on their faces on the way to the dealer. While they are enjoying their new cars, others are still waiting for the top dog in the range, the BMW X4 M. Furthermore, plenty of videos on Youtube seem to show several BMW X4 M prototypes out and testing on the Green Hell to iron out any possible kinks before the car enters production.
Judging by the footage below, the X4 M seems to keep its weight in check rather well with a bit of lean and it’s bound to give its rivals a run for their money.
The new X4 M will come with the new S58 engine under the hood, the replacement for the S55 mill used on the M3 and M4 models today. It’s based on the B38 3-liter straight six engine and it will develop over 450 HP, according to the latest info available. While we’re patiently waiting for the X4 M to arrive, the engineers are definitely hard at work.
