It has been only six months since the new BMW F80 M3 came to market and BMW seems to be already testing the facelifted version of the popular sedan.

According to sources, the 2016 BMW M3 Facelift will get a series of upgrades, starting with an updated iDrive system which includes an online entertainment option. It’s still unclear whether the F80 M3 LCI will actually get the full updated iDrive system that will debut later this year in the 7 Series Sedan.

Furthermore, customers will have the option to pick new wheels, the 20 inch style 666M. Inside the car, the F80 M3 Facelift will be offered with new interior trims.

Likely the biggest update for the 2016 M3 Facelift is the Competition Package, but specifics are not available at the moment.

With the F80 M3 having its design tied to the F82 M4, we expect the headlights to remain unchanged, but the rear-end of the F80 M3 sedan is likely to get the revised LED taillights.
The F80 M3 LCI is expected to be unveiled this summer.
