ALPINA releases new photos of their B7 model, facelifted edition.

The refreshed B7 launched last year with the typical aggressive bodywork and imposing stance coming from the Buchloe-based automaker. Each variant of the updated BMW ALPINA B7 (including Standard Wheelbase, Long Wheelbase, sDrive, and xDrive) come with over 30 new parts which enhance the design and frontal aerodynamics to more effectively channel the cooling air required to manage the increased power output. New BMW kidney grilles, updated Xenon Adaptive headlights, LED front fog lights, and updated tail lights are also included.

Other now-standard features will include ceramic secondary controls, engine Automatic Start-Stop, and the Active protection system. Optionally, the B7 Sedan will offer Full LED Headlights, Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System, new exterior colors and interior upholstery choices in-line with the 7 Series update. Renewed BMW individual color and trim offerings complete the package. Two other signature ALPINA elements are the 21” ALPINA Classic 20-spoke wheels and ALPINA Blue Metallic paint.

Inside, occupants are pampered with the finest materials and sophisticated technology. The exhibited car is equipped with the optional rear-seat entertainment system with iDrive Professional and two high-resolution 9.2-inch display. Separate connections for MP3 players and game consoles are included as well.

The B7 is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, which sends its 507 hp to either the rear wheels or all four wheels at an extra charge.

Despite the 2,070 kg curb weight and 5.23 meter length, the B7 Biturbo (F02) accelerates in just 4.7 seconds from 0 to 100 and has a top speed of 312 km/h. With the 8-speed automatic transmission, the standard fuel consumption is just below 10 liters per 100 km.
