Marco Wittmann secured the win at the wheel of his #11 BMW M6 GT3 from the Walkenhorst Motorsport team in DTM
BMW has just confirmed it will be running two M6 GT3 cars in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe series with Walkenhorst Motorsport.
The Walkenhorst Motorsports team is on fire these days, and claimed yet another win with their BMW M6 GT3 cars, this time on American soil.

Five BMW M6 GT3 race cars will be competing in the iconic Nurburgring 24-Hours after its original delay due to Covid-19.
Unfortunately, Augusto Farfus and his Walkenhorst BMW M6 GT3 had to retire the Bathurst race early, due an incident involving a Kangaroo.
Despite the lack of road-going M6, the BMW M6 GT3 Race Car continues to race and will be featured in the upcoming IGTC.
