BMW Sneyers Herentals in Belgium is bringing to life their own interpretation of the BMW M2 Competition with M Performance Parts. Using the base car as a Sunset Orange M2C, the Belgium dealership dives deep into the M Performance catalog to fit the car with some aero parts. Starting at the from, the BMW M2 Competition stands out with a bonnet made of carbon fiber with partially visible varnished carbon fiber. This is not only a real eyecatcher; this is also the first time the BMW M2 Competition boasts a powerdome. This engine hood reduces the load on the front axle by approximately nine kilograms, too.

The M Performance front side panel in carbon fiber at the front, left/right with integrated air outlets made of visible carbon fiber reduces weight even more. For increased contact pressure and therefore more stability at higher speeds, the M2 Competition features several aerodynamic attachments. Front splits, aero-winglets on the front and on the side skirts reduce lift, enhancing the driving dynamics, especially in fast corners.

On the side, the M Performance Parts come in form of exterior mirror caps in carbon fiber, door sill finisher in carbon fiber and side skirt extensions in carbon fiber.

Moving to the rear, we can see a rear diffusor in carbon fiber and a rear spoiler in carbon fiber. Racing sound on the road is provided by the M Performance exhaust system. The lightweight construction flap exhaust system made of stainless steel features a titanium rear silencer and 93 millimeter tailpipes made of carbon fiber with M logo. The sound ranges from sporty (Efficient Mode) to uncompromising racing acoustics (Sport Mode and Sport+ Mode) thereby emphasizing the unique 6-cylinder bi-turbo sound even further. Of course this exhaust system (available from 9/2018) saves weight as well – approximately 32 percent (8 kg) as compared to the series production part.

We don’t have any photos of the interior, but it’s fair to say that we expect to see an M Performance Steering Wheel, M Performance pedal covers in stainless steel, while the gear selector switch, double-clutch transmission and hand brake handle are covered in the carbon fiber.
