BMW has announced the BMW 7-Series Horse Edition for the Chinese market which will make its debut at the Beijing auto show later this month.

Meant to celebrate the Year of the Horse on the Chinese calendar, the 7-Series Horse edition comes with a selection of special edition cues to distinguish the model from the standard series. Those features included the Chinese character for horse embroidered onto the front passenger and driver seat head-rests of the plush leather interior as well as the words “Limited Edition” engraved on the rear trunk chrome panel.

Based on the long-wheelbase 74oLi xDrive, buyers of this special edition will be able to choose from a selection of BMW Individual exterior colors as well as a variety of M sport package offerings.

BMW hasn’t said how many 7-Series Horse Edition units it will make available, though the model is exclusive to the Chinese market.

The 2014 Beijing auto show takes place April 20 to 29.
