Here are the first photos of a BMW 1M painted in Frozen Valencia Orange. The matte orange 1M was spotted earlier this year at the M Festival at Nurburgring, as well as the BMW Welt in Munich. When it launched in 2011, the limited edition 1M was offered in three colors from the M factory: Alpine White, Sapphire Black and the temporarily exclusive Valencia Orange.

Over time we have seen owners painting or wrapping their 1M in Java Green, Irie Green, Carmine Red or Dakar Yellow colors, but what we have been missing was a frozen paint. The matte colors have been making a comeback in the past few years and BMW offers a wide range of “frozen paints”, from black to silver, blue, red, white and gray, just to enumerate a few. Now, the Frozen Valencia Orange joins the club and coming from an 1M owner, it looks nothing but stunning.

Of course matte paint jobs come with an extensive manual and lots of guidelines, yet they are absolutely worth it in my opinion.

Based on the license plate, the 1M spotted at the 2012 M Festival and BMW Welt, belongs to the same owner and comes equipped with the M Performance black kidney grille, carbon fiber trunk spoiler and mirror caps, and blacked out wheels and exhaust tips.

The photo gallery below gives you an idea on how the Frozen Valencia Orange looks like under different light exposures.
