The highly-awaited BMW 1 Series M Coupe arrived today at Road America’s Oktoberfest 2010. Despite our initial assumption that the car will be completely unveiled, BMW decided to continue the 1 M saga and partially revealed the new exciting M.

For the first time, the 1 Series M Coupe shows its true color and the Orange Metallic looks nothing but spectacular in person.

Full details around the car remain a well-guarded secret at BMW, but the bodykit is in its final stage and very minor details will be changed on the production model.

    I wish it has the S54 rather than the N engine. It’s like a great body with no heart.

    I will drive it with an open mind when it comes out, and I wish I’m wrong here. but you know, Turbo is Turbo,… unless they make a substantial change in the concept of how Turbo works it won’t be as good as the S54 or the S65. Let’s wait and see.

      They made significant change in 4.4TT applied to X6M and result is outstanding. No wonder that M-brand patented their solution to problem of already unnoticable turbo lag in regular 4.4 TT. Maybe here, they also made something with ingnition order to get similiraly impressive results.
