The ALPINA B7 Biturbo model is quite the luxobarge if you ask anyone on the street. It’s quite obvious from just looking at it, you don’t really need an engineering degree to realize that a 7 Series that looks like that is probably incredibly fast. And yet, the people from ALPINA decided to give the B7 the Exclusive treatment and make it star in an action-filled clip to entice Canadian customers even more.
A while back, the Buchloe-based company announced the exquisite ALPINA B7 Exclusive Edition, a limited run model for Canada, with a couple of special features to appeal to the most dedicated BMW fans out there. Now we’re taking a look at it in motion and get to drool over its great looks and enticing sound. As for the cars themselves they will easily be noticed on the roads, thanks to their exclusive finishes.
Each of the 21 units features one of three BMW paintwork colors: Individual Frozen Black, Individual Frozen Grey or Black Sapphire Metallic. Seven of each color will be available. On the inside, an Alpina production plaque representing the brand’s extensive history of tuning high-performance BMWs is affixed to the center console. The vehicle’s seats, door panels and dash are cloaked in black BMW Individual Full Merino Leather with contrast stitching with Piano Black interior wood trims to finish things off.
The exterior aesthetics of the B7 Exclusive Edition are meant to emphasize the power hiding under the hood. Therefore, black chrome exterior design elements and badging are supplemented by deep black, 21-inch ALPINA Classic lightweight forged wheels. Under the hood hides the usual 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with its 600 HP and 590 lb-ft of torque, allowing the car to reach 100 km/h from standstill in 3.7 seconds.
