The F16 BMW X6 will make its debut this summer and is sharing a platform with the new F15 BMW X5. This latest video from Nurburgring showcases the new X6 during some hot laps.

The design of the F16 X6 is built atop the BMW X5 and the upcoming X4, including the new headlights which connect to the kidney grille, larger kidney grilles and a “shark nose.” The 2015 BMW X6 comes with air breathers on the sides, a trademark now on all new BMW models. The side view has also been improved with a more elegant, yet sporty roofline.

The F16 X6 has also grown in size, rising from 4877mm to around 4910mm. Interior space is increased as well, offering more headroom for passengers as well. BMW will offer the X6 with a choice between bucket seats and a bench in the rear.

The engines will be matted to an eight-speed automatic or the 7-speed DCT for the X6M.

The 2015 BMW X6 will debut at the Moscow Auto Show in August.
