Celebrating its 30th anniversary, AC Schnitzer will give its fans a special edition automobile based on the BMW M240i. Dubbed ACL2S, the special tuning package will be unveiled at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March.

The project kicks off with a power upgrade – the standard 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine was upgraded to deliver 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The bump in power was achieved with an ECU reflash, a new exhaust, downpipe, and different intake. Additionally, AC Schnitzer included its fully adjustable RS suspension kit, lowering the car as well as giving the customer the option to adjust height, compression, and rebound.

The aero kit is also unique – it’s wide and features a series of carbon fiber upgrades, from a front spoiler and splitter, to carbon fiber side mirrors, side skirts, rear roof spoiler and a carbon fiber wing. The rear diffuser rounds up the carbon fiber additions.

A set of AC Schnitzer AC1 Alloy wheels can be ordered in either black or silver.

Finishing the ACL2S off, a host of interior trim pieces have been added, including an aluminum pedal set, special “One of Thirty” badging and a three-spoke leather steering wheel with color-matched stitching.

The conversion kit can be ordered without the car and it will cost $38,000. If you include the M240i, the price goes up to around $83,000.

AC Schnitzer will build only 30 examples of the ACL2S.
