We were just informed that BMW will reveal the production versions of the recently launched BMW X1 Concept and 5 Series Gran Turismo Concept on June 23rd at the BMW Plant in Leipzig, Germany. Yesterday we saw some new photos of the 5 GT being test driven around Munich and sporting less camouflage than ever.
We also learned that the marketing materials for the 5 GT have been already produced with most of the video footage being taken in the beautiful Spain.
The BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo will receive a new palette of colors to match the premium luxury badge put on this first Progressive Activity Sedan. New interior colors will take the BMW luxury level to a new level making it attractive for a lot of people. At the Frankfurt Show we will see an Individual version of the 5 GT and we can only imagine the luxury that will be showcased in that model.
Both the BMW X1 and 5 Series GT will make their debut at IAA Auto Show in September, but prior to that BMW will hold several media and public events to display their latest additions to the BMW family.

I hate to sound like a rabid fanboy, but I really like both of these vehicles. The X1 is an agile point and shoot tool, and the 5GT has swoopy styling hiding moderately good utility. What’s not to like about that?
It’s the 23rd, hope we get to see something today
