The german fellows at Autobild have posted some CGI(computer generated images) of what the next generation BMW X3 might look like. Just a few weeks ago, we saw some photos of a X3 test mule using the body from an E91 model was being tested around the 'Ring.
The renderings of the 2010 BMW X3 is featured on Autobild's front cover along with the BMW X1 CGI. The new X3 seems to be keeping the same lines as the current X3, but in the same, it seems to be importing some elements from its bigger brother, the X5. If the actual car will have a similar design, I can already predict a big success for BMW. I do own a BMW X3, and as much I like the car, I always feel like something it's missing from it.
Now, let's move a little down on that front cover, do you see the BMW X1? In the past, we mentioned that the BMW X1 will be launched in 2009 based on the 3 Series E91 platform and it will have a smaller size than the X3. Now, looking at that single photo, to me the X1 looks like a combination between the X6 and the E91. I might be wrong since the image is fairly small, but it made me wondered which direction is BMW going.

A question; any news on the twin turbo gas engine in the 2009 X5? I am holding a purchase until the X5 gets the TT and am thinking of going MDX, so any news would gretaly help me and BMW. Thanks in advance.
