BMW Group's full sales results for 2024 show that plug-in hybrids and EVs accounted for 24.2% of total deliveries.
Of the 206,582 vehicles sold by BMW M last year, the i4 M50 was the most popular. 2024 was the 13th consecutive year when BMW M sales grew.
BMW Group UK leads the 2024 premium car market with 172,240 registrations, over 25% of which were fully electric.
Despite delivering fewer cars, BMW retained its global sales luxury crown in 2024 after archrivals Mercedes and Audi posted lower sales.
BMW M sold 206,582 vehicles last year, an increase of 2.1% compared to 2023. It's an all-time record for the performance division.
BMW global sales fell 2.3% last year to 2,200,177 cars. MINI dropped 17.1% to 244,915 units. Rolls-Royce was down 5.3% to 5,712 vehicles.
BMW sold nearly 47,000 more cars than Mercedes in the United States last year. It finished first among luxury brands, ahead of Lexus and Audi.
