The first 8 units of the limited-run BMW M8 Gran Coupe First Edition have been specially customized by the BMW Individual Manufaktur. The M8 Gran Coupe First Edition will be assembled in a limited production of just 400 units to mark the advent of the F93 M8 generation. The very first 8 examples of the special model series sport a distinctive touch of individuality.

The 8 Series has a powerful significance for BMW, so making the first 8 units of the M8 Gran Coupe First Edition even more special seems a logical marketing move. Horatiu also wrote an article on this subject, when BMW M CEO Markus Flasch presented the first 8 units of the special edition.

The models are featured in the BMW Individual Aurora Diamant Green color, which resembles the Saleve Vert shade from the Concept M8 Gran Coupe of 2018. The exterior window and grille ornaments are featured in BMW Individual Aluminum Line which embodies a trace of gold to add to the striking look of the car.

The LED filaments in the Laser headlights also beam in a goldish-yellow color, while the 22-inch M alloy wheels also sports gold accents. The first 8 examples of the First Edition for the F93 M8 come up with some special signature features that sets them apart from the rest of models up to the 400 unit.

At the rear end, the shiny black M8 logo sports the “1 to 8” inscription which is placed right beneath. The same “1 to 8” tagline is repeated on the exterior B pillars of the car, on the seat headrests and on the floor mats.

Another unique feature is the BMW Individual Manufaktur which is placed on the exterior front door sills and is repeated inside on the cover door for the phone box compartment at the lower end of the center console.

The “1 to 8 M8 Gran Coupe First Edition” is based entirely on the M8 Competition Gran Coupe, which means the BMW M V8 powerplant roaring under the engine hood develops a peak output of 625 PS (617 hp). What’s more, the “1 to 8” units are specced with a BMW Individual Taruma Brown full leather upholstery and the BMW Individual Piano Lack glossy black wood trims for the dashboard.
