The BMW X2 coverage continues today with a set of wallpapers showcasing the new SUV in Galvanic Gold Metallic. BMW X2 M Sport X is one of the three models available in the X2 lineup featuring the M Sport Package with Frozen Grey accents. Anyone who orders their BMW X2 with one of the two M Sport Packages will automatically receive at least 19-inch wheels. For an extra charge, a 20-inch car is also available, which makes the compact SUV even more dynamic.

For the M Sport X model, an Alcantara fabric combination with M piping and contrast seams in yellow for the interior is also available for the Galvanic Gold finish. Exclusively for the X2 M Sport X is the interior trim aluminum hexagon anthracite with accent strip in chrome.

Both the X2 M Sport and the rustic variant M Sport X are equipped with a M Sport suspension, which provides a 10 mm lowering. Thanks to a tighter spring and damper design and modified bearings for the stabilizers, the suspension provides noticeably more agility. If desired, it can be combined with the Dynamic Damper Control, which allows the suspension hardness to be adjusted at the push of a button using the two characteristics Comfort and Sport.

Powering the BMW X2 will be the typical suite of small four-cylinder engines, both petrol and diesel. So there will be a BMW X2 xDrive18i, xDrive20i, xDrive28i, xDrive20d and xDrive25d. Transmission options will be either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Though, the one to have is the BMW X2 xDrive20i, as it comes with the most potent of petrol engines — a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder making 192 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque, with only the DCT gearbox available. BMW claims it can get from 0-60 mph in 7.7 seconds.

The BMW X2 xDrive28i with 228 horsepower will be available in the US in Spring 2018.
