The BMW M4 Coupé tackles uncharted territory. This time, on an aircraft carrier. It remains unknown if the ad is a computer generated one or the real deal, but nonetheless a fun video to watch.
Powering the new M3/M4 is an all new, 3.0 liter twin turbocharged in-line six cylinder twisting out a whopping 431 hp, 406 ft-lbs of torque. Sometimes it’s hard to tell how many turbos a BMW has with their liberal use of “TwinPower Turbo” which can refer to a twin-scroll turbo or two turbos, but M3/M4 has two actual turbos.
0-100 km/h comes in 4.1 seconds when equipped with the third generation M Double Clutch Transmission.
You guys cut the 3D crap and start making some real commercials … this is plain ol’ stupid. A 3rd grade kid will tell you it’s 3D and it’s stupid. We already seen what an M4 can do after such commercials, it crashed into a tree, go back to the real commercials, please.
Still a fun one to watch. Wish it was real also.
It is CG, not real. A lot of the shots show a concrete barricade on the side of the ship, which hides the fact that it really isn’t on a ship (and thus requires less CG). If it was the real deal, they would probably show the ocean in as many shots as possible.
It is a real car. The car was shot and cut out frame by frame and composited. Shot on an airfield
