Germany-based company TechTec decided to have some fun with the new BMW 1M and up its power output to a whooping 450 ponies. The upgrade can be done in stages. 1500 euros, brings the power output from 340 to 380 hp and the torque from 450 Nm to 580 Nm. Adding another 1000 euros on top of this will get you 20 more horsepower.
And if that wasn’t enough, a different air cooler – 800 euros – will make up the power difference to 450 hp and 630 Nm.
With all this power under the hood, the TechTec BMW 1M is said to run to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.1 seconds, with the speed delimiter being removed completely as well.
The company also offers a titanium exhaust system by Akrapovic and a new club sport suspension from KW.
