The BMW M4 Coupe DTM Champion Edition is a rarity on the road. Built to celebrate Marco Wittmann’s victory in DTM, the special M4 went to only 23 customers, including the DTM champion. One of those copies ended up with TVW Tuning in Germany who decided to build a tuning program around the special M4.
Compared to the original model, the tuned up M4 DTM Champion Edition comes with 20-inch forged alloys BBS FI painted with a black finish. The wheels are wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
To lower the ride and improve the car’s driving dynamics, the tuning shop installed the KW Clubsport coilover suspension. The sound department gets an upgrade also with the Akrapovic Evolution Line made of titanium. The sound damper can be opened or closed by the by pressing a button on the steering wheel. The exhaust system saves compared to the standard one 10 kg and gives an additional 17 horsepower to the twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine.
In combination with a K & N air filter and an additional unit for the engine electronics, TVW Car Design promises a power output of 517 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Newton meters.
