In spring 2012, BMW will unveil the new generation 3 Series Touring. The F31 Touring picks up the design details from the new 3 Series Sedan and adds the typical sport wagon lines.
Theophilus Chin, the respectable rendering artist, delivers new visuals of how the 3er Touring would look like.
The engine range will be imported from the sedan and will include both petrol and diesel engines, in four or six-cylinder configuration.
Just as for the 3 Series sedan, BMW will offer the Touring with three lines: Modern, Luxury and Sport. The aggressive M sports package will come to enhance the sporty allure of the touring.
Just last month, Ian Robertson, BMW’s head of sales and marketing, said the company has no plans at the moment to import the new 3 Series Wagon, despite being one of the must successful 3er models in Europe, accounting for almost half of 3 Series sales.
BMWBLOG’s own sources say that the company is not yet at a point where a final decision has to be made and the product plans may change in early 2012.
