Sources close to BMW confirmed that the rendering below is “not far off from the actual product”. Now, of course as usual, we recommend to take this with a grain of salt, but judging by the previous spy photos. leaked bumper and design details, the rendering, done by Autobild, seems to be on the right track.
Despite the fact that many of us assumed the 5 GT details will be transposed onto the new 5 Series design, the rendering shows a different front fascia, with a smaller grille and new headlights.
The front bumper rendered clearly copies the one posted on eBay a few months back and the design creases on the hood are similar to the allegedly leaked photo that was featured by all the auto sites back in February.
The BMW 5 Series Wagon is considerably lower and sleeker than the Gran Turismo version, still keeping that sportiness much needed by any BMW owner.
As seen here, the new F11 5 Series Wagon has a longer wheelbase and a wider track than the current generation 5er, offering more interior room and also cargo space.
The bottom line is that we definitely like this new rendering more than any other ones we have seen before, many of them either resembling the 5 GT or portraying a smaller 7.
Will it turn out to be this way? It certainly seems like it and we can only hope it will.

u can post old renderings of present models,so we can compare and see which renderings are closest to real deal…this one ..it could be close but just the base lines..
Nooo, this render is no good. It looks… just not right. Roof is too flat and side graphic is too plain.
I believe the new car will look much better than this!
front looks like z4
I dislike it… I hope BMW 5 Series continue with the “angry face”. ItĀ“s her trademark
I think the rendering of the new A6 looks a lot like the Exeo estate however it is better than the 5 Series rendering. I prefer the bigger kidney grille of the 5 Series GT.
I actually kinda like it….the front-end is aggressive enough for me
Im ok with it…I belive this rendering is 90% the real deal…..I see a T model E class , in my opinion looks better than 5er touring…..
It reminds me of a car from the Burnout game series.
