While enjoying our stay at the Fairmont Vancouver, my boyfriend and I took out two BMW cruisers for a spin. I needed my seat lowered and when my boyfriend went to tighten the stem into place the part snapped in half and slashed his wrist. Just missed some veins. It was a pretty serious injury due to poor design. He needed stitches. I would love to hear what BMW has to say in their defense. it’s extremely sad tht they are bragging about the “stem” design because it is crap.
