He oversees all aspects of the publication — editorial direction, content strategy, advertising, partnerships, and product management — making BMWBLOG a go-to destination for BMW enthusiasts globally. Before launching BMWBLOG, Horatiu earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he developed a strong foundation in digital products, engineering, and startups. He then spent six years as a management consultant at Ernst & Young, advising Fortune 500 companies on digital strategy and transformation across Media & Entertainment and Consumer Internet sectors — experience that shaped how he built and scaled BMWBLOG into a full media operation. His passion for BMW cars sparked the launch of BMWBLOG in late 2000, one of the earliest single-brand automotive magazines on the internet.
