Earlier today German tuner AC Schnitzer teased their latest project – dubbed ACL2 – based on the BMW 2 Series Coupe. Now, the company is ready to fully unveil their latest and arguably greatest model.

The ACL2, which will make its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show will output 570 hp power output from the car’s heavily-modified engine. Based on the photo of the car’s engine bay, it appears AC Schnitzer has managed to fit the S55 3.0 liter engine
from the M3/M4 models. Even the carbon fiber engine brace is included. The tuner promises a power to weight ratio of 2.54 hp/kg.

The exterior and interior also get heavily upgraded. Fitted with track-inspired accessories and a widebody aerodynamic kit, the ACL2 takes the 2 Series looks to a whole new level. At the front, the ACL2 gets a redesigned bumper and larger air intakes. Side sills, wheel arches and a large fixed rear wing are some just some of the rest of the visual upgrades.

Two-tone five twin-spoke alloy wheels are also specifically designed for this model.

Inside we can find the typical AC Schnitzer badging, and also a set of new pedals, sports seats, gear knob, handbrake grip, and carbon fiber trim. Even the steering wheel gets upgraded.
