The new Competition Package sharpens the sporting character of the BMW M3 and BMW M4 by delivering 450 horsepower – a 25 horsepower upgrade over the current model. The increase in engine power has improved performance. The M3 and M4 with the Competition Package can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h – with optional 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission in only 4.0 seconds; the BMW M4 Convertible in 4.3 seconds. The models with the standard 6-speed manual transmission will need an additional 0.1 seconds.
The Competition Package also includes Adaptive M Suspension, which has been extensively tuned to the enhanced performance and handling, and which features new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, along with reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+). The standard Active M Differential on the rear axle and DSC Dynamic Stability Control have likewise been configured to match the upgraded dynamics. Exclusive forged, machine-polished, weight- and rigidity-optimised 20-inch M alloy wheels – front 9J × 20; rear 10 J × 20 – with exclusive multi-spoke 666 M styling and mixed tyres (front: 265/30 R20, rear: 285/30 R20) complete the list of chassis upgrades.
For the BMW M3 and BMW M4 Coupe, the Competition Package includes special lightweight M sports seats that combine perfect support under extremely hard driving with exceptional comfort on long journeys. Seatbelts with woven-in BMW M stripes cap off an extremely sporty interior ambience.
The Competition Package also includes an M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes and a louder growl.
The Competition Package for the BMW M3 and BMW M4 is topped off by extended BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim. The high-gloss Black finish has been applied not only to the side window trim, window recess finishers and exterior mirror frames and bases, but also to the BMW kidney grille, the side gills and the model badge on the tail.
In Europe, the package costs 7,300 euros for the BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, and 6,400 euros for the M4 Convertible since the BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line is already included.
love the wheels would look awesome in gloss black
horatiu wheres the LCI for the M4?
I thought M series vehicles didn’t get an LCI?
M3 got an LCI…
It got the new LED tail lights, and an iDrive update. Beyond accounting purposes that’s about as far as you can get from an LCI.
Pretty much what we expected actually: Around 450hp, GTS wheels, US GTS seats (not sure but they look alike), suspension upgrade, exhaust upgrade, black kidney grill and side vents… This is really good stuff from the brand, and if the C63 S can already cry, i wonder how it will compete against the QV.
Btw, are the 666M really 20″ in front ? I think they are 19″ on the GTS, so i’m asking… That’s pretty big though for this car. Just on the limit i think.
I just purchased mine… I love it!!! check it out on my instagram NeonDjs
