The 2013 SEMA show has just closed its doors and the Las Vegas-hosted event has drawn a record number of visitors and exhibitors. And over 1,500 vehicles displayed.

When it comes to the aftermarket and customization industry, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show takes the icing on the cake. The show, which is not accessible to the general public, opened its doors to the press, manufacturers and professionals in the aftermarket business, and once again has shocked many with some of the most exotic car builds ever. There are suppliers for custom headlamp LEDs, premium paints, vinyl wrap, and speakers and wheels bigger than what makes practical sense.

As always, the BMW brand is well represented here. You can see anything from a pimped-out 3 Series to a heavily modded M3 and to an M5 that reminds us that money can’t buy taste.

Our official photographer Johan Lee was on the SEMA floor to capture some of those unique models.
