German tuner Alpha-N launches their own version of the BMW 1M. The tuning shop is headed by former Brabham Racing employees, Alexander Zilliger and Markus Gutjahr, and currently focusing on development of carbon fiber parts for a wide range of automobiles.

Dubbed 1M RS, the Alpha-N upgrade features a ventilated carbon hood, front fascia add-on carbon lower spoilers, carbon roof, carbon luggage lid spoiler and a carbon rear fascia diffuser.

Under the hood, the “baby-M” gets an additional 70 hp to a total of 410 hp. The upgrade is possible thanks to a remapped ECU, new air intake and exhaust system.

To cope with the increased power, the 1M RS features a MAC high-performance braking system which include 6-piston calipers, 380 mm disks and braided stainless steel lines. The car sits on lightweight OZ Superforgiata wheels measuring 8.5×19-inches in the front and 10×19-inches in the rear are fitted with a Michelin Cup tires in 245 and 265 width.
