The new 2012 BMW 1 Series was spied in Germany sporting the Valencia Orange paint. Initially believe to be an exclusive paint for the 1 Series M Coupe only, the metallic orange will also be offered for the new 1 Series family.

It is expected that the Coupe and Convertible models launching in 2013 will be offered in Valencia Orange as well. For the 1M, the unique paint cost 660 euros in Europe and $550 for US customers.

The 2012 BMW 1 Series comes with a large array of exterior colors: Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Crimson Red, Mineral Gray, Midnight Blue, Deep Sea blue, Glacier Silver, Mineral White and Liquid Blue. BMW will offer the Estoril Blue paint with the M Sport package available in the fall.

The prototype feature here was spotted near the Regensburg plant where preparations for market launch are in progress.

The F20 1 Series goes on sale this fall preceded by a public debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
