Ever since we first heard the news about the upcoming BMW G90 M5, the market for the current M5 has seen a steady rise in new used vehicles being offered throughout classifieds and specialty dealerships nationwide. In turn, with the influx of new owners and the slightly outdated exterior appearance, the BMW F10 M5 is seen in plenty aftermarket builds lately. Today, we have a chance to review this gorgeous Monte Carlo Blue BMW F10 M5 in a build by European Auto Source.

While it’s visual appeal may have faded a bit, performance wise, the BMW F10 M5 is no slouch. The vehicle is powered by a 4.4 L V8 turbo petrol engine, the M5 of this generation ticks all the performance boxes. The BMW M5 of this generation is capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) in 4.2 seconds and its top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). However, an unrestricted (limiter removed) M5 can hit a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). For many, this is the perfect starting point for an aftermarket build.

The owner opted in for a few clean, but impacting aftermarket touches. Namely, these come in form of a set of cosmetic touches and upgrades to the suspension/wheel departments. First, the Arkym carbon fiber AeroSpace trunk spoiler was installed, adding a touch of carbon fiber to the rear. This is followed by a set of iND painted front reflectors, a set of painted kidney grilles and a set of painted side markers – cleaning up the M5’s exterior quite nicely.

Finally, the wheel & suspension angle got upgraded as well. First, a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 107 Flow Forged wheels were installed. These come in sizes of 20×9.5 in the front and 20×11.5 in the rear. The Titanium Graphite finish on the wheels looks great against the Monte Carlo Blue exterior of the vehicle, giving it a perfect clean look. After the wheels were installed, it was time to pull the vehicle closer to the ground and improve its cornering performance. To achieve this, European Auto Source have installed a set of H&R Lowering Springs. You can check the final result of this build right below.
