It seems like BMW is not only working on the exterior facelift of the 2009 3-Series, but they also focus on changing interior elements. We have already mentioned that the facelift 3er's will get more chrome inside and it will have some larger mirrors. Yesterday, the guys at bimmerfile released some new info on the iDrive system that will be available in the 2009 models.
The new iDrive includes a completely new interface, similar to Audi's MMI. The iDrive knob will have rows of buttons around it that will increase the usability and help the driver jump faster through different interfaces on the system.
The new nav system will debut at the Paris Motor Show late this summer.
