BMW ranked third among luxury automakers and ninth overall in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study.
J.D. Power has released its annual U.S. Initial Quality Study, which shows BMWs have on average 192 issues per 100 cars. MINI fares better.
With 184 issues reported for 100 vehicles, BMW was slightly above the average in the rankings. MINI fared better with 170 problems.
