The new BMW G20 3 Series could not, of course, miss its first European public introduction at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. As usual, the focus is on the sporty side of the mid-range sedan, with the Munich engineers putting all the currently available cards on the table. In Geneva, the new 3 Series shines as a completely black BMW M340i xDrive with tuning accessories from BMW M Performance.
The Sapphire Black Metallic finish is combined with the extended Individual Shadow Line, which makes the kidneys and other details shine in black instead of cerium gray. From the M Performance tuning accessories come the numerous aerodynamic attachments made of carbon fiber.
BMW says these parts have been developed on the track and are not just meant to look good but have practical purposes as well. All components are plug and play and they do change the way the car looks. You can get a varied range of parts for your car’s exterior, enhancing its aerodynamics in the process. You get ten items for the car’s body, all of them either in high-gloss black or carbon fiber.
As seen below, there’s an M Performance front splitter along with a rear spoiler diffuser. All of these parts are available in a choice of carbon, black high-gloss or black matte and optimize the air stream around the vehicle while reducing uplift. The M Performance exterior mirror caps made of carbon fiber are also available as are the M Performance side sill films. Last but not least we should mention the grey back lights and M Performance tailpipes.
Of course, the 20-inch light alloy wheels of type Y-spoke 795 M Bicolor are not to be missed, which stand out in Ferric Gray. On the sides, the BMW M340i also carries the M Performance stickers, which underlines the athletic looks.
In the interior, the M Performance 3 Series at the Geneva Motor Show 2019 wears the BMW Individual full-leather trim Merino fine-grained in Fiona Red and Black. We also see the M Performance steering wheel with grip area in Alcantara and the aluminum Tetragon interior trim.

I can only imagine what the M3 is gonna look like. This looks amazing!
It looks sublime, Very impressive. The interior is on the highest level. The wheels looks great. This car looks is great. Its BMW at their absolute best again.
good
I hope we see some ported disc brakes for the G05 X5 soon, they look great
Awesome ! I like it a lot and it confirms that it’s my future car.
Hopefully BMW will have an alternate leather grip area for the wheel as
polyester… I mean Alcantara is not a good wear material.Wheels look like low pressure cast so I hope there is a forged option with Michelin PS4 on them. M763 would be nice.
” …. we should mention the grey back lights.”
One would think an automotive journalist would know that a car’s backlight is the proper name for what most call the rear window.
Really now, rear brake lights, reversing lights, marker and running lights are quite different items which may be elements of a rear lighting assembly.
Hey Horatiu,
As the the Infos from Bimmertoday, the parts inside of the car are not aluminum tetragon. It is a carbon open pored interior.
It seems very high quality and I guess very nice to touch and the feeling should be awesome.
The changed it on the post already…
You’re right. Didn’t pay attention. Don’t forget , Bimmertoday is part of us also 😉
Incorrect, it’s actually the Aluminum Mesh Effect trim.
