First BMW M2 Competition destined for the US market are starting to not only arrive at BMW dealerships, but also to land in customers’ hands. A BMW dealer in Virginia has just handed out the keys to a Long Beach Blue M2 Competition models, one of the few we’ve seen so far in the striking blue paint.

The Alpine White is the only standard color on the M2, while the Black Sapphire Metallic, Long Beach Blue Metallic, Sunset Orange Metallic and Hockenheim Silver Metallic will set you back $550. Inside, customers can choose between Black Dakota Leather with blue stitching or the Black Dakota Leather with orange stitching.

The base price for the 2019 M2 Competition starts at $58,900 while the European Deliver pricing kicks in at $55,955, without the $995 Destination & Handling charge.

There are two choices of wheels, the standard 19″ Style 788M wheels, in either bi-color or black, in this case, the owner picked the former. The M2 Competition buyers can also choose from either the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox or a six-speed manual.

Standard equipment includes the sporty looking Shadowline trim, BMW M seatbelts, a BMW M sport seat and Apple CarPlay.

On top of those standard features, there are some additional options and packages. There’s the Executive Package, which brings such luxuries as full LED headlights, wireless mobile phone charging and a heated steering wheel. That also brings a WiFi hotspot and automatic high beams. So it’s a nice package that’s reasonably priced at $1,200. Of course, the optional seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is also available, at the price of $2,900.

The M2 Competition for US customers comes standard with the M Sport Brakes kit which is a great addition to the car as we’ve experienced on the track in Ascari.
