Over the last year and a half, Emelia Hartford has grown from a presence on Instagram to a YouTube creator with over 215,000 subscribers. She currently owns a 1995 Nissan 240SX and a 2004 Subaru WRX wagon and can be seen doing all the work to modify them on her popular channel. But she doesn’t build garage queens! She loves to throw her 240SX sideways at the track, and has been working hard over the last year to improve her drifting skills. We met Emelia at last year’s MICHELIN Pilot Experience at the Thermal Club while testing out the MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4S tire.

It appears that Emelia is looking to add another car to her garage, and the first one she’s tested out is a 1979 E24 6 Series. But in typical enthusiast fashion, this one is not stock. This shark has been rebuilt by RS Speed Design & Fabricating with drivetrain from a late model E28 535is, an engine from an E23 7 Series, and is rolling on a full coil over setup.

The car obviously sounds good as it kind of takes over the sound of her video, but it’s worth it as she and her friend get a taste of how a classic BMW can make you feel.
