Today I had the chance to visit the biggest BMW dealership in Munich – the BMW Niederlassung at the Frankfurter Ring. The dealership was undergoing its last extension in 2009 when BMW invested more than 20 million Euro for new show floors and office space.

At first sight, not a brand-new BMW hit my eyes when I entered the dealership. But a BMW 635 CSI from the German Touring Car Series DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagenmeisterschaft) caught my attention. The BMW 635 CSI features the paint job from 1984 and is placed in the middle of the entry hall.

The main floor of the Niederlassung is dominated by BMW cars of the entire product lineup, ranging from the BMW X1 to the BMW i cars. The cars are arranged in two rows, closely next to each other. BMW also displays exclusive models from ALPINA, such as the B3 Touring or the B4 Coupe.

In the lower section the dealership presents the BMW M cars. As soon as I walked down the stairs to the display I noticed one empty place next to a BMW M6 Convertible. It was immediately clear to me which car will be placed in this special spot in the near future. The spot is reserved for BMW’s newest addition to the M lineup – The BMW M2. The all-new and first-ever BMW M2 will find itself in good company.

The current star of the M display is a BMW M4 featuring the Nardo Grey as an individual exterior color.
