Our reader Chris C. is one of the first customers to take ownership of the new 2013 BMW M5. After months of wait, the new F10 M5 is starting to arrive at dealerships around the country, so expect more similar photos next week.

The 2013 BMW M5 carries Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices of $90,695 and the M5 model below had a sticker price of $100,495. The European Delivery base price starts at $83,655. The Black Sapphire Metallic M5 comes with Black Merino Leather, the Driver Assistance Package (Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind Spot Detection, Side and Top View Cameras), as well as with the Executive Package and upgraded 20″ M light alloy wheels.

The super sporty sedan is powered by a high-revving 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, cross-bank exhaust manifold, High Precision Direct Petrol Injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control. The cars deliver 560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 680 Newton meters (502 lb-ft) from 1,500 rpm.

The high-rev unit rockets the M5 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and under 4 seconds using BMW’s new Launch Control.

As seen in the photos below, the car was being prepped for the delivery and the anxious owner was on site to snap some ad-hoc photos.
