Update: This was a BTG lap (Bridge to Gantry) which means the overall time is a bit over 8:20 minutes.

A stock BMW M135i with a “regular” driver ran Nürburgring Nordschleife in 8:05 minutes, same time as the E92 M3 and faster than the 1M Coupe. At 8:05, the M135i is faster than the Z4 M Coupe, E60 M5, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and Porsche Cayman S.

The M135i was stock with Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires and a 6-speed manual transmission.

BMW M135i is powered by a 3-liter, straight six-cylinder engine and 235 kW/320 hp and 450 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The technology package includes a TwinScroll turbocharger, direct High Precision Injection with central multi-hole injectors, VALVETRONIC variable valve control and Double VANOS variable camshaft timing.

The BMW M135i sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds (automatic: 4.9 seconds) and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h – the top limit permitted by the vehicle’s electronic speed control system. Average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle is 8.0 liters (7.5 liters)/100 km, and the CO2 emissions level is 188 grams (175 grams) per kilometer.

Impressive! How do these little cars keep getting faster and faster?

Tom, I want to know the something as well. What kind of German VOOODOOO BMW are using on these Cars these last days?

  • ///MPOWER

holy crap! if he does that on a wet track i really wouldn’t wan to see what the dry track time is.!

  • fluffyduk

I can just about afford one of these but I’m so afraid to test drive one because I know I will NEED to buy it. Every month I read more posts about how good it is. It’s making it even more difficult not to have it.

You should test it. Amazing car.

Boys, this is a BTG lap (bridge to gantry). Add at least 20s to get a full lap time. For a somewhat wet lap this is still a nice time, but let’s not jump to conclusions here.

You’re right, missed that part. Made the update

I don’t like small cars and all new bmw’s are too much electronic.toys.

    HOWEVER

damn that’s really fast, imagine if it was automatic and dry it’s just mindblowing!

My wife drives a stock 135i Coupe and I swear it will run circles and a a straight line past my Dinan S54 M roadster and hers is a StepT. And for $400 I could give her 135i another 60hp but it’s baaaaad enough. I thought I’d trade our Dinan X3 in on the new X135i till I saw it and realized that BMW is now making one of the most “soccer mom” feminine looking mini vans going. What a disappointment since this is supposed to be the quickest 1 series going and will soon be an M version. What a waste.

my butt has been transmitting and I have been attempting to square with previous M Cars but this video/story confirm it. Since I got my 135i msport I have done nothing to modify it and it is the quickest best handling bimmer I have ever owned. I cant believe I am typing it but I LOVE the 7spd dbl cltch trany too.
