BMW is preparing to launch a new M model and releases the first teaser video. In the past months, we learned that BMW will offer a high performance version of the BMW X6 M and judging by the video below, it seems that the rumors were spot on.

No other information are available at the moment, but the “special X6 M” will feature a diesel engine most likely feature a significant power increase, along with other distinctive M parts.

Also, in the video below, the headlights and taillights are blurred out, an indication that some changes will occur then, probably the revised LED lights as the upcoming X6 facelift.

    I don’t get it… You pay 200 000 $ for your superfast X6 M, and you are worrying about fuel consumption…

  3. Bimmerlovere39 says:

Looks like it’s “BMW Performance Automobiles” at the beginning and then the badge on the rear seemed to read “X6 M50d”

So it looks like BMW Performance is now going to make cars that sit half way between the normal models and the M-cars? Sort of like the E92/3 335is and E46 ZHP?

  4. Sanii Bmw says:

Do I see right? At 0:36 when they show the badge.. On the right side.. Li badge???

  5. BMW The Best says:

I can’t wait any more. This engine is a genuine revolution in the automotive world.

  6. Bigk says:

BMW is a true engine company – this is incredible!

  7. Viper says:

why label it as M car? why not just a regular diesel.

  8. Roland Renno says:

I’m a die-hard BMW fan but I think BMW has made a big mistake. M GmbH should remain for gasoline as it’s the symbol of the sports blend. Having said that, I feel BMW M are knitting up a seat in the ALMS GT category like Peugeot, Audi, and the likes.

M should stay naturally aspirated high rev engines and manual gearbox, they should make cars with turbos and diesels but name them “tuned by M”, so its kind a m car but it’s not true m car – so fans happy, people who doesn’t know anything about bmw’s but have lot of money would be ahppy as well.

do you no where the m tri colour first appeared it was on the bmw 2002 TURBO. its western learders trying to find was of gaining more tax which are the reason for the low co2 push. im sure bmw would like to stick to na engines. but i dont think they want to have there profits wiped out because they chose to keep the like of you happy.
