Actually a good place to find the older codes out is wikipedia. I checked their info with my BMW book that I have and they all are correct to U.S. specs it seems. So just go there and type in BMW and there is a list of the generational codes towards the bottom. I hope you get them all figured out haha. I'm still trying to remember all of the really old ones.
