This is one of the latest spy photos that were circulating on some BMW forums today and it caught my attention. Here is what apparently the next 5-series will look like, remember, this is a CGI, computer-generated-image
BMW is famous for their camouflage technique and the ability to really hide the exterior elements. So, it's always really hard to tell so early in the game how the final product will look like.
Also, some sources inside BMW have already said that the next 5-series will not be as design transition will not be as radical as the previous one and to expect the new one to be a more flowing car.
What strikes me about these spy photos is the large mask that covers the front-grill which is definitely bigger than the one on the existing model. If you take a look closer, you can actually see the kidney grilles behind the mesh.
Other than that, I can't really tell for sure if this is the "real" 5-series, but if any of you see any clues, please feel free to share them with us.

I would like to know if a new 5 series is expected to be launched in early or mid 2009. Any information on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
