BMW 1-series Convertible – spy photos

A bimmerfest member has spotted the BMW 1-series convertible in Languna Beach a few days ago. These are the first pictures with the BMW 1-series convertible that I see it being tested in the US. I have reported before that the BMW 1-series convertible was spotted in Europe.

The car is still pretty heavily masked but now we have confirmation that the 1-series convertible will have a soft top. I really wish BMW would have given us the hard top found in the 3-series. I’m still not sure why BMW doesn’t keep up with Mercedes when it comes to hard tops on its convertible cars.
