German automaker ALPINA unveils the 2016 D3 Bi-Turbo facelifted models. The BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo sets whole new standards of performance and efficiency in the segment of sporty and luxurious vehicles powered by diesel. The 3-liter straight-six engine with Bi-Turbo charging produces 257 kW (350 hp) and 700 Nm torque.

With the introduction of the 2016 Model Year the BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo participates in the BMW model update and also sees a number of ALPINA specific changes in design and equipment.

The front features a new spoiler and a chrome BMW kidney grill, both accentuate the dynamic appearance and exclusive design. The new LED headlights are extremely efficient and provide even better illumination of the road, their design underlines the sporty, aggressive stance of the D3 Bi-Turbo. The two twin tailpipes are elegantly integrated into the re-designed rear apron, above which the new LED rear lights are clearly visible.

High quality materials, new surface elements and subtle design changes dominate the interior. The standard equipment now features Cruise Control, Park Distance Control and Storage Package for added security and comfort.

The D3 Bi-Turbo sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 276 km/h. This makes the a combined fuel consumption of only 5.3 l/100 km and 139 g/km CO2 based on the ECE norm all the more astonishing.

The D3 Bi-Turbo Touring will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 274 km/h. The combined fuel consumption measured to ECE norm is just 5.4 l/100 km and 142 g/km CO2.

Both models will go on sale this Fall.
