Florida-based tuning shop Precision Sport Industries witnessed their BMW E30 M3 DTM Replica appear in the March 2014 issue of European Car Magazine. Now we are able to show you this interesting project through a series of high-resolution photos.
This is a ‘plain old’ 1988 BMW E30 M3 which has received a series of visual upgrades for a DTM look to remind us of the BMW racing history.
An S50 engine was fitted in this BMW M3 providing additional power compared to the standard engine. The engine comes from a BMW E36 M3 producing 282 horsepower.
The engine swap is combined with a complete custom exhaust system. Additionally you will find a newly added RD Sport RHD headers and new 24 lb injectors. The Hartge wheels, interior updates with bucket seats and a roll bar complete the look of this replica.
