Over the years we have received many requests and questions from our readers, from simple advice on car purchases to more technical or DIY questions. We have mostly resumed to answer those questions via emails, but with our community growing larger and larger every year we believe it’s a great idea to make those answers and information public so everyone can benefit from them.

The latest question comes from Gill:

“I have a 2003 Z4 BMW which I believe has the original radio/cd /satnav system installed.  Can you please advise whether it is possible to adapt it to link in an iphone to play music etc and where to obtain such a device.   If not, can you recommend a solution?”

Our own Chuck Vossler provides the answer:

Yes it’s possible to add iPhone integration to your 2004 Z4.  Nice car BTW!

You want a DICE Mediabridge.

Definition: DICE MediaBridge – bluetooth streams music, cell signal.

Several places sell, it including bavauto.com  and can be found here: http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/product/711/282/DICE-MediaBridge-BMW-iPod–iPhone–Satellite–Bluetooth–USB-Integration-Kit/
I have it in my 2005 330i ZHP, though not perfect, I am very happy with it.

We hope this new type of articles will help all of you so feel free to ask more questions and we will strive to provide the best answer or at least point you in the right direction.
