French magazine MotorSport Magazine uploads a video to Youtube that compares the different engine and exhaust sounds from several BMW M vehicles. The comparison begins with the super uber exclusive M3 GTS with a 331 kW/450 bhp engine and continues with other unique M vehicles: M3 CSL (360 hp at 7,900 rpm and 273 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm), M3 CRT ( 450 horsepower at 8,300 rpm and 324 lb-ft torque at 3,750 rpm), 1M (335 hp at 5900 rpm and 332 lb-ft of torque from 1500 to 4500 rpm).
All of these vehicles are unique in their own way. The M3 GTS sold to 150 units for 115,000 euros each while the M3 CRT went to 67 customers. BMW sold 1,400 units worldwide of the M3 CSL and most recently, the limited 1M was built for 6,039 customers.
