As we hinted in the past, this week BMW will unveil the latest and newest 3 Series Sedan. The F30 3 Series Sedan will make its world debut this Friday, October 14th in Munich and it is shaping up to be a glorious event for BMW, and rightfully so since the 3 Series is the bread and butter for the brand.

To celebrate its world unveiling, BMW plans to engage fans around the world and we applaud their initiative to broadcast by Livestream on Facebook.

We expect to see a 3 Series that follows the design lines of its bigger brother, the F10 5 Series. The F30 3 Series could be considered a scaled down 5 Series, but with unique lines that will make it distinctive within the BMW family.

The car also showcases corona rings with full LED treatment which are different from the current generation E90 due to a new design and a “squared” look.

For the first time on a 3 Series, the new F30 will feature signal indicators placed on the side mirrors, a design cue driven by recent European car safety regulations.

From the side, the new 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan is said to feature a double shoulder line that starts above the front wheel arch and extends to the rear. Despite the complicated and demanding pedestrian safety regulations, BMW managed to keep the car’s nose sitting low, offering a more dynamic look, somewhat similar to the 5 Series sedan.

As always, stay tuned on BMWBLOG for some exclusive information and photos!

So – to be clear, BMW has already told us that there is no 3 series wagon state side for sure?

Don’t ask where, but I thought I read somewhere that there may be a 3 series wagon here due to the 5GT not selling as well as initially expected.

No, the roundel and Bimmer magazines both posted the BMW boss’s statement when he admitted that the 5GT was a failure and they will reconsider both 5 and 3 series wagons. Also stated that due to the low volume of the 5GT they will reconsider the 3GT.

Imho the 3GT already got the axe and soon the 5GT will do it too.  It never sold well and slowing down more and more. They planned to sell 5-7000 unit each year and barely made it to 2000 pieces last year.
that tells you a lot about their success with the large hatchback.

The blog was very interesting and
the picture of the car was just amazing. BMW makes good cars and they are quite
reliable as well. BMW, Ferrari, Audi are some of the cars which will be a dream
car for many people across the world. They make lovely designs and this
particular one in the picture is great…..
